EXPLOSIVE STORAGE MAGAZINES
R Duncan Pty Limited specialises in the manufacture of relocatable explosive storage magazines for the safe and secure storage of explosives and associated dangerous goods products. All our magazines are manufactured to the Australian Standard current at the time of manufacture.
The current standard is AS2187.1-1998.
Converted Container Explosive Storage Magazines
Freight containers of both 6m and 12m sizes form the steel frame which is clad with an outer steel shell, and then internally insulated and lined to suit product storage. The magazine is fitted with a steel security door with an approved locking system, and roof and door ventilation systems. We can also manufacture and fit a rail and trolley system for ease of handling product. Doors at each end are also optional, but we do recommend it for the 12m magazine for extra light and ventilation.

Custom Built
Custom built magazines of various sizes, with capacities from 250kg to 10,000kg, are constructed in the form of an outer steel case, with an internal frame to hold the insulation and lining to suit product storage. The magazine is fitted with a steel security door with the approved locking system, and roof and door ventilation systems.

Concrete foundation blocks and shade roof cladding kits are optional extras, but are strongly recommended to prolong the life of the magazine. All size magazines are freight friendly!
